Government has allowed direct international flights to Agra. The new development has also brought some relief to locals involved in tourism-related trade, who had been complaining of "the Delhi tourist lobby" allegedly discouraging foreign tourists from staying overnight in Agra. Now, more and more tourists are spending several days together in and around Agra.
